Before the summer, the Dynamic Collections project published 300 artefacts recorded in high resolution from the reference collection of the Lund University Historical Museum.
The 3D collection was enriched with new artefacts from the Iron Age, Bronze and Stone Age. The platform is developed using 3DHop and was customized to extract information from the artefacts, share interpretation, and create archaeological collections to support researchers and students.
Teachers at the Department of Archaeology and Ancient History at Lund University are already using the platform to support their lectures.
